I grew up in real estate as my dad started Palmer Realty in 1945 and allowed me to show a few properties when I got my drivers license at 15. (rules and regs. were different then!) I knew our properties and after a few showings was "hooked" into loving the people and our real estate business as he did. Because I had also dreamed of being a teacher, I received a B.A. degree from Brigham Young University in Speech and Dramatic Arts along with a teaching degree. I married and moved to Arizona and taught on an Indian Reservation and then became the Dramatic Arts teacher for West High School in Phoenix AZ. I longed for trees, lakes and grass so in 1972, returned with my family to Farmington, Me and jumped back into the family businesses as well as doing a little teaching at Mt. Blue High School in the English department for a few years. Like my dad, I believe that property ownership grounds the family and improves lives so it is a joy to do what I do, selling real estate, each day.
