My interest in housing dates back to the mid 1980's when I worked as an energy auditor performing about 600 walk through weatherization estimate audits for the local Community Action Program. From there I migrated to Central Maine Power for a 16 year career as a residential, commercial, and industrial energy advisor. Here I was exposed to numerous new construction housing projects via the Good Cents Home program which encouraged energy efficient construction techniques and a in depth understanding of building science. That led to an eight year career in the energy business with Constellation NewEnergy selling electricity to large industrials at the national level. While employed in these capacities, I became a licensed energy auditor, a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Energy buyer through the Association of Energy Engineers.
Upon early retirement from these careers, I opted to utilize these related skills and enter the field of Real Estate in 2010. I have worked with the team at Palmer Realty since then representing both buyers and sellers in a number of successful transactions.
Outside my real estate endeavors, I continue to work as a Master Maine Guide during the warmer months, specializing in fly fishing trips for the intrepid outdoors person. I currently reside in Farmington in a home that I remodeled from stem to stern over a two year period, and enjoy my view of the western mountains, my large garden and the parade of wildlife that calls my small corner of the world home as well.
Contact me and let me share my experience and love of this beautiful area.
